OUT OF DARKNESS MISSION STATEMENT

My goal as always is to:

Reach that one hurting person and make a difference in there life and change the world one person at a time. Let people know that there is no shame in having a Mental Health Disorder, the shame is lying there and doing nothing to help out your fellow man to better there life, so they can in turn affect someone else’s life and the picture gets better and better.


Reaching the world letting people know the only way you can lose is to quit trying. Let us stand together and put an end to the negative stigma of Mental Health Disorders! Stand tall and brave young solider and proclaim that it is OK to have a Mental Health Disorder and together we can change the world by helping that one hurting sole at a time.


They can in turn help the next hurting sole and this in turn is how we can change the world one person at a time. Let us move swiftly and quickly and yes even radically to change the face of the Mental Health System, as we know it. We all know that we need a major face-lift in this area and together you and I can change the world for the better!

Chapter (1)

In the Beginning

In the begging Art said let there be a change to the Mental Health System, there was change, and he was pleased. The following is a proposal for a sweeping change to the Mental Health System and how we are to go about it step by step.




1) Make up a Mastermind Group- Consisting of leading Drs. And headed up by my Dr. Leland H. Heller to train in the new style of treatment, which would be to treat the whole illnesses and not just pieces parts.




2) These Drs. Would spearhead a group of like minded trained Mental Health Professional from every lifestyle and to reach all the major illnesses that are present currently into today’s new world order. This group of Masterminds will lead us into a brand new area, one of love and compassion and a new breed of Drs. To eventually be trained at our facility MHM-U, Mental Health Matters U university.





A) There would also be a new breed of Physic ward nurses who would be specially trained, in how to deal with mental health disorders. Not just a nurses or L.P.Ns, they will go through extensive training of what the patient thinks and will be taught in the manners of this new world mental health order. Which they must know, to some people they are truly there last hope, so they need to act like it. They to will eventually been trained at MHM-U, Mental Health Matters U university.



B) In the mastermind group there will be two of the participants will be former patients. Myself, others who have recovered, and one who is still struggling. We need to mold this mastermind group into a cohesive group who looks at all the facets of the new mental health world order. These appointments to the mastermind group will not be taken lightly and will have to be majority of the inner circle.



C) (The Elite Eight, with one being myself and Dr. Heller making the final decisions of Drs. And Nurses, which will be staffed at our physicality. Six others that will be named at a future date to the board of Directors and CEO, who would oversee the whole project and the last piece of the puzzle would to be to elect a CFO and this would round out the Elite Eight and put us on the right road to get started.)





D) When the world sees how our new physicality performs, we will at that time and let me assure you the time will come! When we will be training at MHM-U all Drs. And Nurses, this will never change. The part that will change is the fact that our system will be copied and we will build other Physic Wards across the Country, but the Drs. And Nurses will still be trained at MHM-U. Each physicality will then be given over to the elite eight and they will oversee that management decisions to each new hostility. Mental Health Matters U university’s and eventually management will also be trained at our headquarters and no Dr. or Nurse will be permitted in our system without graduating from MHM-U and completing every two years continuing education to keep them up on all the new and up coming treatments.



Chapter (1) Actions Steps



1) Form an action plan to choose ten members to the Mastermind Group. How this will be formed will lie in my hands, but after I choose the first person, they will in turn have as much power as me in the selection of the last eight positions and after each selection the according person will have in put in choosing the next one who will join the mastermind group.




2) The candidates will come from certain aspects of the medical field and a true Internet Marketer. Someone that knows fiancés. Some will be Drs. a Nurse. Experts in the field of mental health disorders and someone to handle the fiancés until we find a CFO. A former patient that has recovered and one who is still struggling. I would also ask my Mentor Mike Littman to join; his ability to make something from nothing is truly remarkable.




3) Start to get our name out into the public, Out of Darkness. Everyday take one-step toward our goals in becoming the people and organization that we desire.



A) Make at least three calls a day to people we feel will help us in anyway. This step is not optional I or someone I delegate must call three people that can help our business in any aspect. If we make 3 calls a day for and entire year that will end up being 1,100 contacts and all it will take is one person to get excited and we have potently have all the funds we need, not to mention the media contacts and many other areas that I can not even mention because the possibilities are endless.



B) Try to secure TV and radio interviews and hold seminars, that our affordable to the general public who may have Mental Health Disorder and spread the word, send out flyers, postcards and any other things that would promote a positive image and letting all people know the good we are doing.




Chapter Two- Non Profit Organization


B) Out of Darkness will set up a non profit organization which will work with the drug companies to help underprivileged people make sure they get there medicine, instead of eating dog food for a month.



C) This organization will be built around our whole philosophy on how things are run and find new ways to make medicine affordable for all. I would have to nominate my dear friend Laurie English to this post. She knows my system, she is my system and together we will spear head this organization.



D) We will not rule out the making of medicine at MHM-U. This is an area of expertise that I do not presently have, so we set out an exploratory group to investigate this proposal and see what needs to be done to make this whole medication work. If this gets by myself and Laurie then it will be sent to the elite eight and voted on and if we see a promising future after all options are completed and the elite eight approve the project we shall set the wheels in motion.

Chapter (2) Action Plans


1) Nominate one person who will deal with Drug companies and Government officials.



2) Hire a firm to look into the possibilities getting our feet week into the drug field and form a research lab in MHM-U. Totally dedicated to the making, stocking, and running a pharmacy in the Physic Ward and the group home that will be at the main facility and last but not the least the tenants that get the low-income housing.



3) Nominate a CEO of the whole medicine project to be approved by the elite eight.




Chapter Three-Capital


There will come a time when the rubber hits the road and we will need to gather the financial information and projections on what each phase will indeed cost and how we are to go about raising the capital.



1) We will do nation wide fundraisers; we try to get some organization like the Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts to support us in the undertaking.



3) We will form an exploratory group on fund raising and look at all the possibilities and what direction we should take. My Wife Mrs. Arthur Buchaanan will head this group. Mental Health Matters U university. Aka. Melinda Buchanan, this woman has a heart of gold and would go and do anything to make this fund raising as fruitful as can be. Once the expletory group and my wife meet and decide on what would be the best thing or way to go about this then and only then will we send the findings to our elite Eight and voted on.



3) We will silicate offer from various groups whom we will see match our profile and eager to succeed in these uncertain times of changing health care and the care of the biological unhappy.


A) We will once again form an exploratory group to consider all the options from all groups and this need to be headed by our CFO who is a member of our Elite Eight. Therefore, we will weigh heavily on his recontaminations. We will leave no stone unturned and look thoroughly at all offers that we shall receive, we will sort them out accordingly and have the CFO and what the exploratory group finds and move on from there.




B) We may upon a vote be willing to take our company public and sell shares of our stock at a set opening price, that is fair for both sides and that will strengthen our base that is the foundation, which upholds the entire organization. There will be no more than 20,000,000 dollars worth of stocked raised unless we grow unto a point where a need for more capital or any other monetary needs is.




Chapter (3) Action Plan



1) We will nominate a person to head the Capital Funds Program that will work with the CEO of the Capital Program. We will actively seek funding in any and all areas and will always be open to suggestions from anyone in the organization and if we implement there plan they will receive a hefty bonus.



2) We will have some one in the Capital Funds Program call at least three projected groups or people who can advance our cause, this in turn will be 1,100 contacts a year and we are bound to hit a few home runs.



2) We will provide stock options to our best employees and this in turn will raise money to advance our cause and also make our employees act like owners, with the companies best interest in their minds as the more we make the more they will make and take home.




Chapter (4) Buying The Right Piece of Property, at The Right Time and In The Right Place


1) Form an exploratory committee on when to buy a certain piece of property. To look into and see if it would be more advantageous to buy and existing building or physicality that can be renovated within the framework of the budget.




A) The committee shall look to find the best state and town in which to start the first MHM-U. They will narrow the selection down in size to the best five states and within these five states, they will narrow the choice down to the top ten cities.



B) I already know one place in the state of Ohio that has a hospital for sale and I think that it may just fit our needs. There is only one other Physic Ward in the whole hundred mile radius of the said building. Which makes this an ideal site and upon approval of the members of the board at that time and a consideration given to fiancés and then we shall move forward or backward, which ever way we decide to go.




C) We shall nominate a committee to look into the idea of the existing place in Ohio or if we should build from the ground up and start from scratch and go in that direction. The said Committee will be referred to as The Capital Gang Committee and they will have free rein to find the most suitable place that is humanly possible and most likely to fit our particular needs at the time.




1) This committee will consist of all the major players in the organization. We will have to do through work and do due dalliance and make whatever location is picked that if it can in turn meet all our needs at that time, with an emphases on continued growth in the future, also needs to be considered.




Chapter (4) Action Plans

1) Capital Gang Committee is to look into the buying of an existing building or build from the ground up and have this person(s) to look at all the passivity and when it is considered crunch time we may in turn add people to this group and also see if the elite Eight has any inside pull to look at the situation with fine tooth comb.




2) Have the Capital Gang Committee report to all people involved with any part of the project, to get an idea to what everyone thinks of the way we are proceeding.




3) When an area is selected, each member of the board shall have to inspect the said property and see if they all approve. This will be voted upon and the findings will tell us what direction to go.





Chapter (5) Exploring all possibilities of all steps in bringing together an excellent organization


1) We will form the first MHM-U, Mental Health Matters University. Put in place a facility that would have enough room to house an excellent teaching facility, which will teach the new, would order of mental health. We will put feelers out to anyone who would like to obtain a teaching degree from our facility.



2) There will be two phases to this university, one will be training Drs. After they have complete a Medical Degree, they must meet criteria to join our organization and this will be spelled out at a different point. The next phase would consist of nurse and support staff, such as social workers and the like, to be trained by our faculty



3) We will form an committee in the following area medication, not only well we look to compete in this market, we will try and lower drug prices and start and area of testing and making of medicine, we will have to appoint a single person to the CEO of Medicine.


A) See if we can truly compete with the big boys and how in turn do we plan to do this? Once we have a workable plan it will be passes onto the Elite eight and await there decision.




B) Have a self-supporting pharmacy, in conjunction with the physic ward and tenants of the low-income housing and the formation of the drug portion of the plan to get the medicine into the hands of those that cannot afford it.




C) A wing of the hospital will be dedicated to the physic ward and living quarters to the disabled and those that are under the poverty level.




4) Have a committee to look into the aspect of providing meals for the physic ward and the low-income tenants, to see if it is feasible and profitable to undertake this project and make sure that it will at least be self-sustaing.



5) We all know that when the hurricane Katrina hit it was devastating and people rallied around the world to support them. It is our attention to bring mental health disorders to the for front of the list of charity that people should give to, by explaining that the funding for mental health is down right disgusting.


A) I happen to know that when the hurricane hit the internet marketers raised millions of dollars and I happen to know a couple of them. I am going to go to the internet world and make a global push for mental health disorders and making it one of the most popular charities to give to and we will do this with an all out media blitz.



Action Plan Chapter (4)


1) Look into appointing someone who will work with congress and the Washington crowd to see what kind of funding we can get for the low-income housing part of the plan.




2) Have same person to look into see if there are any grants available to companies that are willing to make medication at a profit, but do not gouge the people who need it the under our plan no one will fall through the cracks.




3) Choose the best person to head the media blitz, particularly someone who has a background in marketing and public relations to see what can be done about raising funds by the way of the internet.


Chapter 6 Products From Out of Darkness


1) I have written two books, Out of Darkness and Everyone Hurts Sometimes, the Me You Never See. Zig Ziglar, Mike Littman and Dr. Leland M. Heller endorsed my first book Out of Darkness.


2) I have a tape series called Mental Illness and Me.


3) I have developed two pieces of software, MHDD-Mental Health Disorder Dector.

BUTME-Biological Unhappiness to Mental Excellence.


4) I have produced a workbook for Out of Darkness- That goes with the book.


5) I have a new book that I give away for free when people sign up for my news letter- The Me That Is We.





A) All these products are great and can be expanded on with research, delopment, and can all be fulfilled with a distributions company and the only way they make money is if I make money first.



B) We will form an exploratory work group to pursue the research and development of all products and ways to better the existing ones and to see what we will focus on in the future.




C) The exploratory work group will take the beginning idea for a board game called Mental Health Matters-101. Which will deal with taking of medicine and how to make deal the best way with your Dr...? What therapy you should be in if any. What to do when you have a bad day? This board game will consist of helping the person see that they may indeed have a Mental Health Disorder and what steps should be taken. It will face the though questions and help show the different levels of the mental health system.



1) The nest level of the board game will be. MHM-102, Mental Health Matters-102.





A) This will be an advanced game and will look at details into how you can get better. It will be clearly explained not only how you get better, it shows you in basic steps what to do once you fell well. Shows such things as do not stop your medicine. These steps will be practical and fundamentally sound.



B) The fact that we are now out of the hospital, what do you do now. This game will lead them down the right path if they will follow the rules. Missed your medicine take two steps back and such and so for the, do not pass go stay in the hospital for two more days. These are just some samples of what the game will be like and how the basic framework will be.



2) MHM-103, Mental Health Matters-103



A) This game will deal with ways people with disabilities can learn how to get off it and work toward being self-sufficient.



B) This game will deal with helping them learn basic marketing and how they can earn extra money to supplement their disability.





D) The exploratory group will work on developing new products as the system needs and calls for it. We will bring in experts in as many fields of the mental health disorders area that we fill necessary to complete all our goals of reaching out to those that are hurting.




Chapter 6 Action Plans


1) Test the waters for our products with Goggle Ad words campaign. Willing to test one area at a time.



3) Set up flycatcher pages to see what products will be a go and the ones that need to be discarded or further improved.



4) Take action on the board games and form a team to hammer out the details and get started.




Chapter 7 Bringing In The Right People at The Right Time.




A) As an organization we will all stand together and bring the people we feel will have the most impact on the company. We will bring in top-notch talent and continue to developed products that are cutting edge and making a difference in people’s lives.




B) How will we appoint people to MHM-U





1) First, the department in which the person is to be a candidate will have impeccable and a great record of accomplishment to bring positive results in the mental health area. Once the candidates are narrowed, down to three, they will then be sent to the elite eight and they shall choose the final person accordingly.





2) We will nominate someone to head a Nation Wide Campaign for coverage in these areas but not limited to them. TV commercials and radio media and we will pull at the very fabric of the nation’s news media and hammer home that people with mental health disorders are people with possibilities and that they can have a positive affect on the world.



a) No interview will be consider to small, no article unimportant and last but not least Press time will expand are organizations the more press we get the more we will expand our horizons and the more lives we save!


3) So great amounts of time will be spent in this medium and it will need to be separate entity from the rest of the program. Nevertheless, not to forget the reason that they were formed. This program will be called Project Media Blitz and through research to decide who will lead this lag of the operation.



Chapter 7 Action Plans


1) Organize a search for the different areas of our whole organization, into smaller steps to interview the right people we feel need to join our program and when we narrow down the candidates, we will send the findings of each area to the elite eighth and await there decision. In addition, we may bring in outside counsel to decide on certain area that we have a limited view.



2) We will form a nation wide search of all seniors of colleges, make offers on the best of the crop, and even look at those that are a close fit. Because we know grades only tell half the story and we want to search for people who have heart and faith in what they are doing, we will have head of college recruitment, this operation will be called, Operation College Prep.




3) Well will implement a system of hourly workers who will contact the media to make our cause know and they will consist of TV and Radio, book signings and anything that will promote our cause and keep the income coming in because we can help more people with profit than we can in the red.



Chapter (8) Spiritual Development


Upon completion of all the other objective we will need to educate the Biological Unhappiness People Spiritually and this will go hand in hand with the other parts of treatment because if a person honestly knew who walks beside them they would never feel alone.



A) This could mean many things to many people. We will as an organization adopted a prolixity that fits with the organizations dos and don’ts. How we can change lives for the better and this includes enhancing there life’s physically, spiritually and mentally.




C) One way to do this would be to retrain the brain, to positive thinking, healthy, clean, pure the good. There will be special classes and straightforward approach to all these classes to get the most out of them for all the people who enter into voluntarily.


C) Implement a system where there are participants will have to go through upon being admitted to the our hospital, these will be simple and easy yet very important for all those that truly want to get better and it will be know that they are expected to be involved with there recovery.



1) They must agree to listen to motivational tapes for a minimum of 30 mins. A day.



2) Learn to know at the onset of what makes them feel bad and what they can do to change this, so they do not fall even further into the black hole. At the first sign of trouble, they should seek help before they crash and burn.


3) Make classes voluntary and let patients smoke in a designated area. It should also be know that if they do not participate in class we cannot expect a full recovery or even better, to become better at knowing what the onset of the illness will be.


4) These patients on there way out must evaluate the Drs. And nurses and the food and there overall experience and what we could do to make the system better.




D) Teach that helping others is the best way to help oneself and it breeds self-esteem.




Summery

The products are in place and is life changing. With that said, this will
be no easy undertaking. It will have to be broken down in simple systematic actions one building one the other. First, would be the mastermind group and once we get this hammered out and get ideas flowing around every week I believe the steps will fall naturally in place.


The reason we are being so aggressive is the fact that the system needs a complete overhaul and things need to change. We can go about this one day at a time and take baby steps and sooner rather than later, we will see positive results.


If we get the right people in the right place things will run smoothly and we will be able to handle massive grow and the forming of new products to help not only the biological unhappy, but family members, Drs., Nurse and just about anyone else that wants to know about Mental Health Disorder,


When the door opens up, we will need to be ready to take action and when that door closes, we will look for a window and proceed in that direction. I do not plan to put people in post just because I like them, they will have to be qualified and add something special to out organization.






The system will do all it can to promote change. Those is when we buckle down and get the job done and get the word out that there is a new system out and if we play our cards, right change can only be inevitable and we will be leading the major push for this to happen. Before you know it people will becoming to us to see how we are having so much success and how the quality of life of our patients are getting better and better.


We as an organization need to put on a media blitz to combat the negative stigma of mental health, because this is the number one reason why so many people fail to seek treatment. We need to make it ok to have a mental health disorder and beat down the negative stigma and let people know that people with disabilities are people with passivity’s.


When we move into other areas of the system we will seek guidance to people who all ready know about that field and we will ask them to work with minimum pay until we turn a profit and then they will greatly be rewarded.


Our teaching felicities will be state of the art and will lead in research and development to reach areas that other people never thought of, so we will be on the cutting edge of technology and once again, we will bring in top-notch people to fill these needs.


Our board games will change the way the patients look at there recovery and they will see the more they are involved with there treatment the better they will get. It will also show the basic of taking care of you and show you how to love yourself so that you can in turn love others.

The second board game will be much more challenging it will have patients look at what there doctor is doing and why, they will also look at the nursing staff and see what motivates them and then try and show them what buttons to push and this will only help in your recovery.


The third board game will deal with marketing and making money to supplement there disability and hopefully one day they will be able to get off it totally. We will bring internet marketers in to help with this board game and lay down the basic framework to make the project as successful as possible.


We will stand tall and fight for what we believe in and we will lead by example and show the world what we are doing and how they can buy a franchise of MHM-U and we will stay on board until they have things up and running and making a profit. We will not sell to just anyone they must meet our qualifications once they do then the wheels will be set in motion.


Finally yet importantly, I want you to know that I have a burning desire to help people and to change the system were it does not work and leave in place those things that do. I will work diligently to see that all the changes that need to take place do and we will leave no stone uncovered, so if you are reading this at this present time, please know you are being considered to be on the board or elite eight or in helping with the mastermind group. Please think long and hard on these decisions as we can really make a change in people’s lives, Thank You for Your Time!
